Website Use Statement: The Power of Pistachios is a nutrition awareness campaign sponsored by American Pistachio Growers (APG). Based in Fresno, California, APG is a voluntary association representing pistachio growers throughout the country. Founded in 1980, it is the only voluntary organization representing U.S. pistachio growers' interests. It is governed by an 18-member board elected from a variety of states with the shared goal of increasing national awareness about the nutritional benefits of U.S. grown pistachios.

Your Consent: By using our website, you consent to our collection and use of your personal information, as described in this Privacy Policy. If we change our privacy policies and procedures, we will post those changes on our website to keep you aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we may disclose it.

Our Commitment to Privacy: Our Privacy Policy was developed as an extension of our commitment to combine valuable nutritional information and industry programs with the highest level of integrity in dealing with our consumers. Our Privacy Policy is designed to assist you in understanding how we collect, use and safeguard the personal information you provide to us and to assist you in making informed decisions when using our website.

Upon Your Initial Visit: Our Web server recognizes and records certain non-personal information about visitors, such as browser, Internet service provider and type of operating system. This information is only used for internal review purposes on an aggregate, non-personally identifiable basis.

We do collect the email addresses of those who communicate with us via email and personal information volunteered by you, such as survey information and/or site registrations. The information we collect is for internal review only for the purposes of bettering the Web site and is never given to other parties. This information is only disclosed when legally required to do so, at the request of governmental authorities conducting an investigation, when it is required by law or for the protection of our legal rights.

Ad Servers: At this time, we do not partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies.

Our corporate values, ethical standards, policies and practices are committed to the protection of user information. Upon request we offer visitors the ability to have inaccuracies corrected in contact information and communications that the user/visitor has directed to the website. Users can have this information corrected by sending us an email at the above address.

Email; Other Communication: In addition to providing and collecting information, as noted above, if you choose to correspond further with us through email, we may retain the content of your email messages together with your email address and our responses. We provide the same protections for these electronic communications that we employ in the maintenance of information received by mail and telephone. If you direct us to use your postal address, you will only receive the requested information at your postal address. Users who direct us to use their telephone numbers will only receive telephone contact from us.
